Wolf pack near Bend.

We saw a pack of four wolves this morning about thirty miles east of Bend. One Black and three grey. They were about 1/2 mile away from a heard of elk.We reported it to fish and game and they didn't seem to surprised.

Where at east of Bend? like off highway 20? or down south toward china hat/pine mt? That's pretty close to where the "lone" wolf went through on his was to cali, isn't it?

They were on the north side of Hampton butte. We took alfalfa market road all the way out to where it T's, then went right. Back in that area.

Interesting. In-laws are neighbors with the Hatfields. Will have to look up Travis next time I'm over there, so I can get some first hand info.
