Default Great gear sales

Went to the sales at GI Joes and Fishermans Marine. There are some great buys to be had today. A new Ambassadeur 6001 CA, new plano 758 tackle box. On to Fishermans for new wading shoes and a hookfile. wished for more money to get a couple Buzz Ramsey rods that they had on sale for $50 each. Long lines but great prices.

I popped into FM in Delta Park around 7:20am and the checkout lines were 25 people deep. Some folks had fist fulls of those Berkley rods. At that price you could probly make a couple bucks on ebay....I dont know any other reason why you would want 15 of the same rod???

Those people were buying those rods for other stores. I believe $48.00 is below what mosts the smaller stores pay at wholesale. No more Berkely or Garcia will be going through the Northwests largest fishing distributor (Allsport). They're going to be hard to find here soon.

Mikey it was a 5 hour sale beginning at 7 AM. I'm sure you can find them at the regular price. I thought it was odd that all the ones I saw going up to the checkstands (also 25 people deep) were one piece rods.

Oh well, you know that they will have there Christmas sales and end of the year sales. I got my eye on another Ruger 10/22 and a good bobber rod.

SteelieSteve -

Not quiet true.

It (was) a 13 hour sale. Sorry Mikey, yer still outa luck. But I was in OC at about 6:30 PM and bought 3 myself and they were all 2 piece. Great bargain! There were tons left at that time of all sorts of ratings.

I had been to Joes prior to that but the bargain reels were long gone. I did get another one on sale, albeit not as good a sale as the one you got...
