Re: Official Trout Forum Trophy Thread
Here's a new one I've never put on here before. My friend John with a New Years day bull from a few years ago.

This was 2005 and we did so well, I think we caught 9 like this before noon, we made it a tradition every New Years day.

Here I am with a 19LB laker from a few years ago.
Here's an 8 1/2LB brown from that same trip.
Here's my brother with his fish of a lifetime- a 16 1/2LB brown from November '08.
All of these were caught at Crescent.

Re: Official Trout Forum Trophy Thread
Andy and Allen! FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!!! I'll never forget that weekend a few years ago, Andy. I think you were the only one that caught anything of any size that weekend. Heck, I think RD and Jimmy got skunked and I only had one hit that entire weekend (fortunately, I landed it). You were on fire!!
I love your bro's brown. That will be a tough one to top! But it can be done!!!!

Trout - 33" & 17 pounds by formula. Don't get me started about Bass in Davis Lake Probably the fish of a lifetime, but trying to not make that an accurate statement. I wanted something special for my 1,000 post!

I've got no great trout pix but congrats to all you guys. The best thing about this thread is I believe every weight listed. How many pix have we all seen that we all know are no where close. Again, congratulations to the I-fish crew, their integrity and their skill.

Where did you catch that? if I am not mistaken that is a cutthroat, is it coastal? even if it is an inland cutthroat it could qualify for a state record.
Might check it out. Might be too late though if you didnt get it officially weighed.

Can any one verify if the trout posted by steelheadstlkr on 4/27/2010 is a cutthroat trout, and if so would qualify as the new state record cutthroat?

Re: Official Trout Forum Trophy Thread
not it's not a cutthroat. It's actually what they call a "cutbow" which is, as you might have guessed, a cross between a cutthroat and a rainbow. You can tell because cutthroat don't have a bright red stripe going down their sides.
