That's the looong distance shooting?

I must be out of town but this sounds fun to attend.

The NW Continental is the event name for DU, it is one of their real big shoots.

The course there is actually a short range one, with very few targets that require more than an IC choke. I usually shoot almost the whole thing with a skeet choke. The targets are a good variety though, and some technically challenging shots, even though they are close.

Not sure if I can make it though, the fishies are calling

I am going to try and attend. I just emailed for more information. I promised the wife I would do some things this weekend, but if I can get them all done before Saturday I should be able to attend.

I will not be able to make it. I did not realize this was a two day event. If it would have been one day I might have been able to squeeze it in.

I hope that everyone that attends has a great time, it sounds like they are giving away some great prizes.

Yep it was a two day event and man it was a blast..... I got 2nd in the class I shot in and got me a $100 gift card at sportsmans. I should have had first but had a total brain **** on a few of the last stations yesterday that messed up my score. You could have shot in the morning or the early afternoon on both days....you didnt have to be there to claim your winnings if any. there were alot of prizes for the raffles on both days.

Congrats Lonnie! I probably should've came down and watched.
(Remember I don't compete.....I'm way too competitive.)

Instead Chance & I sat in the boat between rain showers and drew sketches for the new boat blind.
