Got one, works great! Heavy duty and easy to pull my heavy anchor. The only one I could find that requires limited bolts and space to install.

I've tried the others, there's nothing like the best.
But don't take my word for it, do a search of this forum, Miller marine anchor locker.

I would highly recommend it, I have two, one on my open, and windshield boat, very high quality, best place to stow the anchor, also makes deploying, and retrieving very easy, well worth the cash.

This is the anchor locker to get when you can afford it. I have had others on my boat and none of them have assisted me like this one. I can almost always bring up my anchor, anchor puller and ball over the roller on this thing. I hate to sound clicky but me and all my buddies that fish have them.... not to fit in, but because its what works.....
But.........this is all opinion. Ask 50 different people, get 50 different answers, right..

The best thing about it for me is what logical notes below, You can pull everything over it ( ball, puller, chain and anchor). The larger size and heavy duty design makes it a breeze.

Great system....really love mine.
Only complaint I have (and it was my fault), I bought it for full price from Pacific Boatland about two weeks before Fiaherman's Marine put them on sale....happens every time.

No BS its a quality product, buy it once and forget it. I really like the lock down rod that goes through the chain to secure the anchor on long moves. Its simple, quick and well thought out. Although the Pro-Motion unit is also good you need to do a side by side and make your decision, I did.

I love mine, it's tough as nails. The only thing I find a bit troubling is getting the ball and anchor to come up over the rollers. I'm not sure why it catches but sometimes the anchor really wants to jam as it comes over the top and into the nest. Great product though, I love it and it really saves your back.

A few things come to mind.

Make sure the chain connection to the shaft of the anchor is tight, the chain link needs to hug the end of the shaft if not the end of the anchor will stick out at an angle and jam.

Square shanked anchors do not pull as easy as round shanked anchors because the corners can dig into the roller. Grinding a bevel in the end of the anchor can help a lot but if your anchor is galvanized you may not want to grind away your galvanizing.

A helpful method is too pull the anchor or puller up to about 6" under the roller and then give a very quick pull to aid in getting the shaft or puller started over the roller, rather than slowly pulling the anchor or puller up to the roller and then trying to force the shaft over slowly.

Decreasing your angle of pull to the roller will make getting the ball puller or anchor shaft started over the roller. The further forward you can walk towards the Anchor Locker the less contact the rode, chain and anchor has on the roller making a smoother transition. Standing away and trying to pull a solid shaft around a 90*corner makes it much more difficult.

My design uses the largest diameter rollers on the market @ 4" to make this easier. We machine a huge V in the roller to also help alleviate this issue making it easier than other products on the market. If you have not watched my video I encourage you to do so it may help with your technique.

The methods I describe above will help you no matter who's anchor bracket you use.
